I believe that Hajj is about getting closer to God, asking for mercy and gitting your sins forgiven; but unfortunately, young pilgrims do not realize the value of this holy place and istead of praying and doing Douaa, lot of them are busy taking 'selfies' and like that their Ibaddah is forgotten. At the same time and especially in our society you don't get to experience Hajj all the time and most people go for Hajj just in once in life time; thus, it is okay! to take some pictures when you are at the hotel or just relaxing, but definitely not during Tawaf or stonnig of the Devil in Mina, because these 'selfies' turns this spiritual journey into a celebration of self, also showing off and posting many of your pictures in Facebook,Twitter or Instagram is not the puspose of this holy place. :)
selfie, is a huge network movement that have spread all over the world, and the majority of people post their photos daily on the social madia, but taking photos of a holy place like hajj and post them is not a reasonable idea; for me people who do it they have for sure mental disorder or misundertsanding of how that place should be treated
Selfies a great way to express creativity . However people should not become dependnt on it or in many cases take it at the innapropriate place . I personnely could never undestand how people could forget the greatness of being in a holy place such as Hajj chose to focus instead on takung selfies . This is why I totally agree with the opinions mentionned in the videos above .
yes i think that selfies are a good way to enjoying our time by taking picture with our friends :)
